Google Free Photo Backup (high-quality) vs Amazon Prime Photo Backup (full res.)

Since Google Free Photo Backup only backs up high quality, and I just found out Amazon Prime includes unlimited Photo Backup at full resolution, Has anyone try both?


All my stuff are synced to Google, so it seems more convenient to keep it sync to that. I only use Amazon for shopping, but I'm curious on how is Amazon's ecosystem for Photos compare to Googles?...

Why do we need RCS?

Unless I'm not seeing some obvious roadblock, I don't understand why, instead of RCS, Google can't just build a standard IM app that ships on all Android phones. It could just be the default messaging app on every Android (like how Hangouts came on every device earlier).

Instead of requiring an email login, the app could use phone numbers, and just send all messages to other Android users over the internet (and to iPhone users via text).

What's the big deal in implementing this? Why is Google...

Bang for your buck?
