PSA : How to share a URL from in-app browser

How I used to do it : In the menu, select "Open in Chrome" and then share it from there.

Better option I just discovered : Click on the URL on top that displays only the website root address, it will show the full URL of the page you're visiting. Long-press on that full URL and it will be copied to the clipboard. Share at will.

Hopefully will be useful for other people :)...

Did Android bring any real change with each upgrade after Kitkat?

Comparing **Pie** to its previous versions,do you observe any real upgrade to the OS?

Will the overscroll effect become more popular on Android?

In the past few weeks, I've seen more apps implement the iOS-like overscroll/bounce scrolling effect. For example, Poweramp, a music player. [Google Go](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.searchlite&hl=en_US) also does it.

Uninstalled Samsung Health today, BIG relief.

What do you think about the poor optimization of popular apps on Android as compared to their IOS counterparts?

I'm asking this question because personally for me I find it rather annoying to not have popular apps for example Instagram not fully optimized even with my new Pixel 3a XL.

For example, when I view vertical IGTV videos, the videos zoom to fit to my display instead of on IOS where they letterbox it or fit the video within the screen. Does anyone else have this issue as well?

PSA for devices getting Android 10 in the near future regarding wifi MACs

By default the OS will randomizes your MAC address each time it connects to a WiFi network, to limit tracking.

This could cause issues for routers that let you see the usage of each device like Google WiFi as each time it would show up as a new device. It could also cause auth issues with hotspots like XfinityWifi where you are remembered and authenticated with your MAC address.

You can change this behavior per network. In the wifi settings you can tap on a network and under "Privacy" change ...

Unpopularopinion: Curved screens are perfect for edge gesture navigation and you guys are missing out on things because of the hivemind.
