Why is Samsung so hell bent on continuing development for bixby when so many people hate it?

Curious iPhone user here who is is wondering if Note and Galaxy users have the same question.

I was listening to an Android Central podcast episode today and they were discussing the note 10+, when arriving at the Bixby topic Ara Wagner one of the AC editors gleefully talked about how it was much easier to disable Bixby entirely on the Note 10+.

This made me think that as an iPhone user I do use Siri fairly regularly, acknowledge that she is in some need of improving but I haven’t ever felt ...

While everyone's talking about Spotify getting rid of their widget, New York Times also got rid of theirs

I am probably one of the few people who actually used the New York Times home screen widget. It showed current news in a photos slideshow. One of my favorite parts of the home screen. Saw today that the app got updated overnight, and the widget is no longer available.

There was literally no reason to get rid of this. Even if most people didn't use it, it could have stayed. I know that there isn't a way to get it back, but are there any other good "photos" widgets out there?...

Android 10's most requested feature it's coming in less than a week but it's still half baked

Google being Google again: Android 10 is probably coming on 3rd September and many Google apps don't comply with dark mode. Here's a recap:

Popular apps without dark mode (I think they should be addressed first): Gmail, Play Store suite, Maps, Home and Search (counting Assistant, Lens, Podcast)

Less popular apps: Duo, Translate, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Wallpaper, Rewards and Tasks

And then there are all the other business apps like My Business, Analytics and Ads which are still in brightly whit...

Android's UI design has gone measurably downhill since Duarte left.

Material design was the beginning of a complete and cohesive design language. Now that he's gone, there doesn't seem to be a single consistent idea in any element of Android, and I blame Murphy. There have been so many arbitrary changes that tore out Android's identity and replaced it with that of the most uninteresting, unnoticeable software experience I've ever seen. It's things as small as the colored icons In the settings. The colors are arbitrary and remind me of Samsung from 2015. Or the g...

Anyway to have this indicator 24/7?

When I change my volume on the YouTube app, [it displays this smaller volume indicator](https://i.imgur.com/03sJqRs_d.jpg?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium). Is there anyway to have this be on all the time? Is there a way to make an app that draws over other apps, and enables this so it's on when you use other apps? Thanks in advanced! I have an S10e btw...

Any smart watches, that can compete with Apple, in the pipeline?

The only thing that's attracting me to moving to the next IPhone is a smartwatch with functions like ECG. Just wondering if there are any watches (WearOS or otherwise) that are currently, or will be in the market?...
