Been enjoying Android 10 but slightly confused why settings menu is black while Google apps are dark grey

Just my OCD but I noticed that dark theme looks quite different when looking at the various Google apps when they are compared to each other and the settings app is completely black while most apps are dark grey. Material theme guidelines even says that apps should display dark grey for dark theme. Just wondering if there's going to be a little more unification for the standard.

New Android Auto.. Yay or Nay?

I can't get used to the new android UI.

The microphpne button is uggly and on other side of driver.. Much harder to reach.

The app drawer is uggly, retro and too much for the car. I much preferred the old switching by category.

I miss the clean home screen with notifications and weather... Or just the time.

I don't need Spotify soft buttons. The car dashboard has dedicated music controls right below.

If I stay on Old UI I have a persistent "checkout the new ui" notification on home screen. ...

Can we talk about how crazy flawed the new keyboard case is for the Tab s6?

As someone that really liked the Tab s4 and been using it all year without issue, I was really looking forward to the new tab s6 with a proper flagship chipset, and ram... and TLDR I'm liking the improvements! FP sensor is optical so it's faster to use than my note 10's, and it's less of a hassle to use than iris scanner on the tab s4. The design is thin with small bezels like the iPad pro too.

So let's talk about this keyboard case... my hope was high, with them finally adding a trackpad, w...

How do you guys handle photos in your phone?

I use an app called Piktures and Google photos for backup, since Piktures does not have the functionality and Google photos is good enough.

The problem is that I reset my phone every 5-6 months and lose all the folder organization provided by Piktures. I searched and you can't backup pictures to certain folders sadly with Google photos....
