PSA: The previous version of Alarm Clock Xtreme from AVG has been deprecated, and Pro licenses don't transfer to the new one

TL;DR; AVG changed apps so you'll have to re-pay for Pro in the new version. Or better yet, find a better alarm clock app and don't support AVG's cash grab.

There are two versions of Alarm Clock Xtreme from AVG; the older/deprecated/unpublished one is called "Alarm Clock Xtreme & Timer" and the new one is called "Alarm Clock Xtreme: Alarm, Stopwatch, Timer (Free)". The old one is stuck at version 6.6.0 which doesn't work properly with ~~Q~~ 10. The new version gets updates, but has a separate ...

Infinity for Reddit - a smooth and ad-free Reddit client

Hi, I am a university student and really love Android development. I use reddit everyday but I hate the ads displaying between posts, so I decided to write a client without any ads by my own. I started building this app in Feb 2018 and last week it was finally published on Google Play.

I Just found out that Nokia 4.2 has notification LED in their power button

Also in their Nokia 3.2.
Why hasn't any manufacturer implemented this? and why isn't Nokia promoting this as a feature?
This is just awesome.

I have the LG G8x ThinQ Dual Screen, AMA.

I've had the device (preproduction) for a couple days and I'm so into it that I wanna share some thoughts here. I work for LG but in the field, I'm not paid to post on Reddit.

I wanna shout out some features that I think people on r/Android will actually appreciate that I've found legitimately useful. I know how quick a lot of people are to call "gimmick" and I totally get that. This, in my opinion, is not a gimmicky device; they haven't just slapped on an extra screen and called it a day. So...

Android should add a Bluetooth 'here beep' to test what speakers you are actually connected to.

I will use Bluetooth in one room, and switch to another set after leaving to another room, but the phone doesn't actually switch, it just says it does. So then if I press play, the audio will come from the old device. This has been the case forever on many different phones. It would be great to maybe have a small ping sound when you lower the volume all the way and click a few extra times just to let you know if it's the right speaker, cause what is fine for one speaker may be way too loud for a...

Just got the ZenFone 6, AMA

Came from a Moto g5s plus, so the only thing I can't really comment on is the screen, as I've never used an amoled for a long time. For me the screen is good, and definitely better than the Moto....

Androids needs precise volume control

This is one of the major Annoyances that people have with Android and one of the dumbest things that still isn't fixed, is the Volume control you can't change it precisely from 0% to 100% like in every other OS, you can only change it to predefined steps that are always either too low or too high, I think fixing that will improve the experience for all alot of users....
