Just upgraded my Pixel and it looked.. wrong. Thought it was Android 10 issue, but it seems that the layout just didn't make the cut this time. In any case it looks horrid.

I hope this isn't some new strategy to make the product obsolete....

Google broke "Android for Work" in Android 10 final release

Hi guys,

Just heads up: don't upgrade to Android 10 if you have work apps/email managed by your company on your phone.

When Android 10 was released, those with Pixel phones clicked on that tempting update button, and promptly lost all access to work stuff. Hundreds of staff are affected in my company alone.

My company has been liaising with Google and MDM vendors for weeks now, but has not been able to fix it.

Mobile hotspot working as a WiFi router while connected to wifi

Has this always been a thing or is it a new thing or is my phone broken? So I'm using a pixel 3xl and I have a broken iPhone with a damaged antenna so it doesn't connect to my house wifi in my room, I had to download an app so I turned on the hotspot on my pixel 3 xl and the iPhone connected and started downloading the app, no problem.

What are the oldest devices that still unofficially receive new Android versions?

You likely know the story of the HTC HD2, which was unofficially supported for 7 years - from 2009 up to 2016. How many devices have managed to surpass that result and are still supported up to now?

The oldest one I know of is the Galaxy S2, which despite being released in February 2011 has unofficial Pie ports, with there apparently being plans for 10....
