Discord Official AMOLED theme.

This AMOLED theme is officially made by Discord called "Pure Evil (AMOLED Optimized), it exists in the files. This version of the theme though is modified by me. I modified it to have more fully black themed stuff including: login screen fully black, server selector fully black, status bar fully black, user sheet fully black, account settings fully black, members list fully black. My thoughts after using HTC U12+ for two weeks - and why reviewers were wrong

Hey guys!

After going through 6 different flaghip phones from 2017-2019 this year, I put my sim into HTC's last year's (and last, period) flagship phone. Many times using all of the previous 6 phones I noticed that a lot of what I heard in the reviews was wrong, but none made it as apparent as the U12+.

Dark mode removed

My phone is Asus Zenfone Max pro m1 with Android Pie. A while ago I received dark mode for Google app and I turned it on. After few days(maybe after an update. I didn't check), it got reverted to light mode. When I checked the settings, the option for dark mode is missing. The same scenario happened with Google Photos too. I got the dark mode and now it is reverted. Anyone know what's happening? I've tried updating, reinstalling. Nothing happened....

There should be a setting to play audio through the earpiece rather than the speaker.

Sorry if this suggestion has been posted before - I can't be the only one.

I take a train pretty much every day, and I usually have my headphones with me. Sometimes I forget them, but I'd still like to listen to my podcast or Spotify or whatever. I'm not an animal, I'm not going to blast my music for everyone on the train to hear, people who do that are the worst.

So my options are to not listen to anything, which is fine I guess, or to hold the speaker at the bottom of the phone to my ear wit...

What features that the Android community once considered important have now been long forgotten?

As a former Android enthusiast who is now just a passive observer in this subreddit, it's interesting to me to see trends come and go. In the moment, the Android community will often insist on the lack of certain features as complete deal breakers, when a year or so later this is no longer the case.

To start off, I'd say that curved backs for ergonomics are definitely a feature that no one talks about anymore....

It's been 4.5 yrs since Andorid Auto was launched and it's still present in only 36 countries.

im buying a car and the dealer told me i can get only apple carplay as Android auto is not supported in my country, Belgium.
however AA is available in France, Germany, Uk with no reason why it's not on playstore yet after almost 5 years.

Why is Google taking forever to launch AA in all countries?...
