When shopping for a new phone, what features / specifications do you look for?

Having gone through quite a few different phones and phone brands now, the following is a list of features and specifications that I want my new phone to have. How about you?

(Some of them in particular I get really annoyed about if they're not there.)

-NFC (!!!)

-LED Notification light (!!!)

-NOT Huawei (terrible memory management, in my personal experience of them)

-Fingerprint sensor

-4GB+ RAM

-Fast Charging

-Waterproof (I'm accident prone plus I like to use my phone for music wh...

Ads that can't be closed - here's the fix

Headsup

I know that most developers show ads in their apps... that's how they finance themselves.
But there used to be a close button on the ads.

Recently I've started seeing a new type of ad... one where I need to wait 30 seconds, and there's no stop or cancel button. I need to close the game (in my case my been-using-it-for-years backgammon game) completely, and restart it.

Solution

I tried a few ad blockers, and only one worked for me. Blokada. Of course, it's not in the App Store... h...

When the ZF6 was announced a few months ago there was a lot of questions here regarding Asus phones, updates, bloatware, built quality, etc.

I've been using their phones for quite some years, I am kind of a brand loyalist for most stuff, I've using Asus parts since the 90s as I worked on PC servicing, then got into the laptops for my different work needs, routers for home/home office ...
