[META] Can we make a rule change to the Saturday APPreciation posts to encourage more recommendations instead of requests?

**TL;DR** The Saturday APP posts have become somewhat stale with only recommendation requests, I suggest asking/requiring people to make an app recommendations along with all requests to bring the quality of suggestions up.

I used to be pretty excited about the Saturday posts because people would go posting their latest niche finds and apps that have flown under the radar, but lately the Saturday posts have become almost entirely people looking for recommendations which typically leads to the s...

YouTube's terms of service are changing and I think we should be wary of using ad block, YouTube Vanced, etc. Here's why...

There is an upcoming change to the YouTube ToS that states that:

>YouTube may terminate your access, or your **Google account’s** access to all or part of the Service if YouTube believes, in its sole discretion, that provision of the Service to you is no longer commercially viable.

While this wording is (probably intentionally) vague, it could mean bad things for anyone using ad block, YT Vanced, etc if Google decides that you're not "commercially viable". I know that personally, I would be *s...

Best Android Device you've ever owned

Title says it all. For me, the Moto Z2 Force was pretty special and if the Z3 wasn't a disappointment, I wouldn't be with OnePlus today....

[Tasker + AutoNotification] Follow-up: workaround for low # of apps compatibility in the new Fossil hybrid smartwatch HR, or any other smartwatch with SMS notifications

This is a follow-up to a [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/dtiirc/so_i_got_one_of_the_new_fossil_hybrid_hr/) I made a couple of days ago where I listed the terrible limitations of the Fossil app. To recap, notifications are only limited to 13 apps (list in the link), plus SMS and calls. I'm on a Pixel 3 on Android 10, so you'll probably need to adjust Tasker for your SMS app if you're using something other than the Google Messages app.

Basically what Tasker is doing is acting as ...

Youtube app from best to worst!

The Youtube application has become really bad. First of all it is overloaded with functionality.

It causes tons of accidental clicks when holding the phone with one hand because the clickable area for ads or other videos extends to the border of the screen. I bet owners of phones without bezels or with curved bezels have even a harder time.

What I also hate is, that pressing the back button minimizes the video instead of navigating back. Only a second time clicking on the back button (disapea...
