Samsung's OneUI includes Google's pill navigation [No special steps required]

If you are using navigation buttons and you swipe to the right on the home button you will get most of the android 9 pill gestures.

A quick swipe right on the home button switches to the last app

A long swipe allows you to scroll through your multitasking menu....

Google appears to have removed the ability to share YouTube channels on the Android YouTube app.

I tried to share a YouTube channel today only to find that the option is no longer there. You can still share individual videos (using the horrible sharing UI). But I can't find a way to share a channel anymore from within the app....

Regarding the new TOS Google account termination- "The section of our Terms that you're referring to is not about terminating an account if it’s not making enough money - it's about discontinuing certain YouTube features or parts of the service, e.g. removing outdated/low usage features."

Some apps are starting to remove the ability to PiP YouTube videos from inside the apps. What is happening? Do the new ToS include some changes regarding PiP?

Telegram has recently [said on Twitter](https://twitter.com/telegram/status/1193946618653020161) that PiP inside the app doesn't work anymore because "_YouTube wants to keep that feature for tehirselves_". I also cannot see any link preview for YT links at all on WhatsApp.

What is happening? Is YouTube forbidding third-party apps to use PiP because of some new rules added to their ToS? Any other example of apps that are being updated to remove PiP?...

Is there no more hope for compact (<6”) Android phones?

I know this horse has been beaten before, but the leaked news that next year’s S11 will have its *smallest* screen at 6.2” is a dagger for people like myself who enjoy ‘smaller’ phones. I think that leaves the Pixel line as the only sub-6” screen Android phone.

I get that big phones are all the rage. But for many like myself, who don’t use our phones for media consumption, it’s a great annoyance. I don’t play games or watch movies/tv shows on my phone. Ocassionally, I’ll watch a YT video...but...

PSA: if your phone lacks the option to "vibrate when outgoing call connected", here is the solution (no root required)

I hate keeping the phone at my ear or keep looking at its screen while waiting for the other party to answer.

Unfortunately my Pixel 2 lacks the option to vibrate when the call is connected/answered. I believe Samsung phones have an option for this.

Someone on Reddit mentioned an open-source app call [Nevolution](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oasisfeng.nevo) that enables this on any phone.

Been using the app and it works perfectly without root....

Just taken Delivery of the CAT S52, can try and answer any questions.

I have been using the CAT S41 for over 2 years so am used to midrange CAT phones.

My main reason for getting the S52 is due to bluetooth issues that developed on my S41( could be software, could be aging hardware but its annoying).

Current worries are battery life going from 5000mAh to 3100mAh. I was worried about the screen but even with a much lower ppi density the colours and image quality seem to be far better then the S41 I guess that's due to moving away from TFT.

Headphone and chargi...

Update on the "Play Store Balance Expiry" issue.

[**Previous post**](https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/drpz5y/check_your_play_store_balance_expiry_date_63/).

I've had multiple communications with the Google Pay support team since losing the $63 and these are the few information I gathered from them -

* I got an email from "supervisors on the floor" saying this -
