Ambient mode while charging poped up on my Pocophone & works great !

So I read some time ago about ambient mode, the Google assistant charging home screen / Google photos photo frame, that was coming to the wireless charging Pixels while on the proprietary google wireless charger a couple months ago now.

But I just got a notification for "Ambient mode while charging" and here are some screenshots of the setup process and use.

Apex Launcher is now pushing scummy ads for a new browser

IMO, uninstall ASAP and report to the Play Store; this is too intrusive and a cery scummy approach to trick the not-tech-savvy. The OnePlus Experience.

In February of this year (late to the hype party, I know), I ordered my OnePlus 6T, and recently bought an S10+ to replace it. And to say the least, owning one wasn't the best experiences with phones I've ever had.

I loved that phone when it arrived, everything about it was perfect. It was the perfect size for me, the fingerprint sensor was pretty quick, it charged quickly, there were so many things I liked about this phone. But then the problems started pouring in.

Dark mode breaks bitmap graphics by force-inverting colors.

It seems that the email is actually a bitmap image, and Google's software goes around every contour filling it in with black, but struggles around the organically shaped text. Very interesting....

Bring Back Removable Batteries

As the noscript suggest, I firmly believe that phone manufacturers should bring back removable batteries.

Which Chinese phones are trustworthy?

So I realise I'm probably being paranoid, but with the trade ban and [posts like this](https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/dx732i/wtf_xiaomi/) I'm wondering how trustworthy are Chinese phones?

Like are there certain brands which are more privacy focused than others? Should state-owned companies be avoided? Or super budget brands? Is it region specific? I'm in Europe so would a global ROM be less invasive than a Chinese ROM? Or is it all just fear-mongering and there's nothing to worry abou...
