PSA: Turn off RCS before switching phones

Just a heads up that if you switch phones, it's a good idea to turn off RCS on the old phone first. If RCS isn't yet enabled on your new phone (or it's an iPhone), messages from contacts in existing RCS chats may potentially continue to go to your old phone.

I got caught with this yesterday actually - switched my SIM from my Pixel to my iPhone. Missed a bunch of messages from my wife during the day because they were still going to my Pixel.

Google app FCs when you search for 'What is iMessage'

Don't know whether it's a bug or an easter egg, but when you open the Google app (not Assistant) and search for 'What is iMessage', it stops unexpectedly. Tried with multiple devices and android versions.
Try it yourself!


Edit: Someone also reported this in the Google sub reedit yesterday ([here](https://www.reddit.com/r/google/comments/ecf9tt/searched_what_is_imeassage_on_google_app_and_it/)). Just went through it and did some testing.

Best apps for Reddit on Android?

The old archived thread on this topic is outdated.

I have tried the top recommended apps: Reddit, Boost, Joey, Sync, RIF, and Relay.

I used Joey and Sync the most in the past.

Reddit, Boost, RIF, and Relay are my least favorite for various reasons. I know some folks like the web 1.0 aspects of some of these, but although I like simplicity and function over form, I am not into the web 1.0 thing. Nor am I into the suffer for fashion thing.

Currently I am using Infinity.
