Use «Invert colors» for apps not supporting dark theme

A simple life hack I discovered a few days ago. You may know it already but maybe someone doesn't. If it's night/you have low battery on your OLED screen phone and app you are using right now still doesn't support dark theme just use «Invert colors» tool. It can be placed as a tile in the notification shade. This tool doesn't just make all colors negative but inverts some of them (like white and black) so it will look OK....

On the "Spyware" Case: Samsung Proofed to Be LYING, Personal Data were SENT

This is in response to the Samsung's Qihoo 360 case. For those who don't know, there's a sensational post last week on Reddit, as a user claimed that Samsung partnered with a Chinese company Qihoo and pre-installed irremovable "spyware" on every Samsung phone and tablet. Long story short, I found the post to be jumping to conclusions, but Samsung's response later seemed a little fishy to me. Being a network security researcher, I went ahead and decompiled the APK myself. Though I'd like to belie...

What has been your experience with Google Maps when navigating offline?

I've noticed it has trouble recalculating and the offline search doesn't work good. I've read that others have had trouble too. What's the problem? When do you think Google will update Google Maps and its offline feature?

I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S10 and have downloaded the offline maps, even updating them before going out today and it still had trouble....

Smart band

I wish someone would create a smartband that acted like a smartwatch but in a smaller design. No video calling or camera, but the ability to see notifications, manage your music, track your location and more. I would especially love this design for NFC, encouraging me to actually use Google Pay for payments. To really improve it, adding Solo radar and gives me those type of interaction would be perfect. Unpopular Opinion: I like Android Pie's gestures more than Android Q's

I find them to be much quicker and get me through my tasks faster. I appreciate the tap for home and the faster animation for swipe up for recents. The back button being visible does suck but it's functionality is SO much better than the swipe from the side gesture. Android Q's gestures are very flowy and beautiful, just like on iOS, but I prefer speed and functionality. Am I the only one?...

The only thing that I miss after coming from "Windows 10 Mobile" to "Android"

The only thing that I miss after migrating from "Windows 10 Mobile" to "Android" is the option to pin any settings option to home screen. In "Windows 10 Mobile" I could easily pin the "Update" setting to home screen. I wish "Android" also had that option. I miss that feature so much....
