Why Android should lock the software version at 10 just like Windows and provide future updates to all devices manufactured 2020 onwards!

Software updates are becoming less revolutionary as years go by. Sure we are getting cosmetic updates like Dark Mode, Gestures, etc (but this could have been easily provided as updates under the same version of Android, gone are the days when each new updates used to completely change the UI of phone making your phone look fresh)

Microsoft did a brilliant move by locking Windows to Windows 10 and guaranteeing all future updates under the 10 series to every desktop

Don't f*** with Cats and CyanogenMod?

You guys remember CyanogenMod?

So I noticed this in the beginning of episode 2 of the Netflix show Don't F*** with Cats they were mimicking a computer booting up as part of a story and I noticed CyanogenMod in the boot up sequence

[Discussion] Android continues to move settings, buttons, and menus to the bottom of the screen. What do you think should happen to the notification bar at the top?

Google seems to be moving buttons to the bottom of the screen because it is easier for the user to tap on (but also because they conflict with the back gesture). But the one thing that hasn't changed, that remains heavily used, is the notification bar at the top. It's still very difficult to trigger, but remains a key point of interest for just about all users. Whether it is notification themselves, or quick toggle settings, accessing it is surprisingly difficult as is.
