I miss the old one when we could see the signal strength ,weather the phone was charged.
Starting from pixel 1 Google vision changed to emulate iOS and with that they have lost their identity....

Gesture UI suggestion/discussion

Hey Reddit,

I am currently using a Samsung device running Android 10 and have been toying around with Samsung's version of gesture navigation for a few months now (Google's version is oddly only supported with the OneUI launcher and I can't give up on Nova just for gestures). It isn't a faster way to navigate, I'll say that much. Buttons are just faster than a swipe can ever be, there's simply no way of getting around that fact. Still though, I really do enjoy the immersion that Samsung's imple...

Hi r/android.

In 2019, I [made a thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/aiaslm/updates_may_be_getting_faster_but_the_vast/) that explored the relationship between Android devices and OS updates. Namely how many devices go from one Android version to another.

I'm back again to explore whether there have been any changes in this regard. I also have a mini Q+A to some questions I asked Greg Kroah-Hartman.
