Hey Reddit,

I am currently using a Samsung device running Android 10 and have been toying around with Samsung's version of gesture navigation for a few months now (Google's version is oddly only supported with the OneUI launcher and I can't give up on Nova just for gestures). It isn't a faster way to navigate, I'll say that much. Buttons are just faster than a swipe can ever be, there's simply no way of getting around that fact. In 2019, I [made a thread](https://old.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/aiaslm/updates_may_be_getting_faster_but_the_vast/) that explored the relationship between Android devices and OS updates. Namely how many devices go from one Android version to another.
