Shade Launcher has been updated!


For those who have not heard of Shade before, it is the spiritual successor to my Rootless Pixel Launcher, bringing the same clean design philosophy but with my twist on it. Go to Settings > sounds and vibration > sound quality and effects > adapt sound > default/off (no boost) . Apparently Samsung messed up with their frequency range with the different age groups. Hope it helps, it came from another member here...

I feel Android’s dark mode is not as good as that of iOS. Agree or disagree, and why?

As always, I keep coming back to this wonderful community for my thoughts, doubts and concerns regarding Android. My main phone is Android and use iPhone as my work phone.

Obviously, I am an Android fan but dark mode is something that I find much better on iOS. Android dark mode is mostly dark gray with all the Google apps like Keep, Calendar, Gmail having a dark gray than a true black. On super high resolution screens, it doesn’t look as good.
