I'm so glad I am always updated to the latest Android version every year

So I'm really happy that I am able to always get the latest Android version every year. How you might ask ? Answer custom ROMs.

I have always had the latest Android version stable through one rom and another at around 3-4 months from when the source code hit aosp. It's great because I can actually get excited about all the new features without worrying whether my manufacturer will update my phone or not.

The Nexus 5 was amazing

I had the actual shittiest phone ever for 4 years before I got the OnePlus 7T. You can imagine my excitement when I got that phenomenal display . Buttery smooth everything. So fresh, so clean of a UI.......ah ..

By what criteria do you people judge the SOC when deciding to buy a phone?

Picking the adequate SOC is probably the hardest part for me (maybe because that's the thing I care about most). There are just too many variants, now I have an understanding of the CPU core architecture and the distribution of high and lower power cores but the GPU is the tricky part.

When I bought the redmi note 8 pro, I liked how it had the mali-G76 but then I realised that it has only 1/3rd of the cores compared to the S10 mali-G76 and is way more weaker than the Adreno 630 on the SD 845. S...

FIX for disappearing home button problem

Hey y'all! Recently, I've been having issues with my home button disappearing, along with a notification saying "Pixel setup in progress." Many other people on the forums have this same problem, and the two google support agents I contacted did not help, so here is my solution.

This problem has been reported on Essential PH-1, Google Pixel, Galaxy S8, among other phones.
