Most iPhones are slowed down by apple and become super hard to use years down the line while android phones that are still on firmware they launched with will still be just as fast. Like for example my LG V10 which is on nougat or something still runs just as fast as the day it came out while I bet an iPhone 6 or whatever on iOS 12 will be extremely slow and hard to use.
