Sync music using filters

Hello, I'm a young self-taught developer.
I wrote a little Python program that in my opinion will be helpful for someone out there.

Have you ever had problem syncing music between PC and device? Do you want to do that using filters like minimum rating?

If the answer is yes click on the link below to see more.

The Hap-tic Archive!

Hi everyone, could we make a haptic archive for Android?

*I do currently own a S7 edge and A7 2018 phone from samsung.*
*I quickly stopped using the A7 after finding the poor haptic engine in it yet kept it for its camera array.*

*But all my texting I do through my S7 edge.*

I feel it is an important feature many overlook, especially by companies. And it's really hard to find a proper list of phones that shows that they have or have not gotten a good haptic engine.

So I'm wondering if ...

Can we take a moment to talk about password autofill on Android?

Autofill has been introduced with Android Oreo (so almost 3 years ago) and for almost the same time I have been using the password manager Enpass with my phone and Pc. I hated the consistent "safe password"-popups so I disabled them plus I used different browsers for my phone and pc so sync wasn't an option anyway. When they introduced the option to use Android autofill API I was so happy, immediately enabled it as soon as Enpass supported it just to be disappointed. When logging into apps it w...

Fun find: Android stopwatch kept going despite phone shutting down from a dead battery.

I started a stopwatch while grilling out back. My phone died when I turned the flashlight on. I plugged it in, ate dinner, turned phone on and stopwatch was still ticking accurate to the total time passed including off time. Just thought it was interesting and wanted to share....

Facebook suddenly changed the menu look and it looks awful.

As I browse on the Facebook app I go the it's menu to check a save I've made a couple of hours ago. After I press on the menu I notice a change in its look.

Now it has material cards and a blue background color that makes everything look uglier than it is

I can't believe Google hasn't made app-data backup mandatory for all apps. Famous ones like Nova Launcher are not backed up.

I recently had to start over with a new phone and was shocked that app-data is not backed up. These are things I take for granted in 2020. iPhone has been backing up and restoring the whole phone for years. My non-tech-minded parents were able to upgrade to newer iPhones with ease.

Yet here I am, even my launcher was not backed up, so no homescreen, no app drawer, no folders. Just a list of never-ending icons. The irony is Nova Launcher is touted as the the app showing off the customizability ...
