Facebook suddenly changed the menu look and it looks awful.

As I browse on the Facebook app I go the it's menu to check a save I've made a couple of hours ago. After I press on the menu I notice a change in its look.

Now it has material cards and a blue background color that makes everything look uglier than it is

I can't believe Google hasn't made app-data backup mandatory for all apps. Famous ones like Nova Launcher are not backed up.

I recently had to start over with a new phone and was shocked that app-data is not backed up. These are things I take for granted in 2020. iPhone has been backing up and restoring the whole phone for years. My non-tech-minded parents were able to upgrade to newer iPhones with ease.

Yet here I am, even my launcher was not backed up, so no homescreen, no app drawer, no folders. Just a list of never-ending icons. The irony is Nova Launcher is touted as the the app showing off the customizability ...

Why isn't there yet a market for modular phones?

It's literally a dream. Like pc building you can have customizable phones.

Want a side fingerprint and onscreen fingerprint with IR blaster, infrared camera and thermal vision.

Buying phones is basically like buying pre-built desktop.

Why can't we have cases with like 6 camera maximum slots and then attach camera's according to our needs and budget. Attachable screens.

Got the Moto G8 Power after swearing I wouldn't, ask me anything about the phone

So I was able to extend my plan since recently, before this I had Moto G7 Power that I have passed down to a younger sibling today. The G7 still exceeds the G8 Power in battery life by a considerable margin so I swore I wouldn't switch. Yet I did and am so far not regretting it 1 day in.

The haptic feedback is pretty good imo when put on max vibration at every keypress, the frame is metal inside I think but plastic outside, the screen feels absolutely fantastic and got a bump to 1080P, the ster...

I've been using the Samsung Galaxy s20 Ultra 5G for about a week now and haven't seen anyone else do anything like this. (other than reviewers). Does your perfect phone exist?

I mean the phone that meets all your needs

For me no it doesn't, my perfect phone would be a combination of the ROG Phone 3 specs and Samsung One UI features and the S-Pen and google's great photography and the iPhone's videography and sapphire protective layer for the screen and carbon fiber frame and back + other things that I think most people will not care about.

I would ask for many things more but this will be enough....

My experience with AccuBattery

I recently got a new phone (S20 Ultra Exynos 4G) and wanted to get some more detailed stats about its battery usage than what the system device care gives. The new device care in One UI 2 is terrible imo.

When you search accubattery on reddit the results are basically all people that say its not accurate and you should rather rely on the device care info. (Granted a lot of people were commenting on the credibility of the "health" section accubattery gives, which i cant comment on because i cant...
