The Evolution of Smartphone Design in recent years

It's interesting to see how the design of smartphones can drastically change in just a few years.

Based on my observation, the two main smartphone that had the most impact on smartphone design in recent years (atleast on the front design) are the iPhone X, with the big notch, and the Galaxy S10/S10+ with the curved display and punch hole camera(s):

I miss the variety during the 2010s era of smartphones...

Every phone company during that time had its own personality. Sony Ericsson. HTC. Samsung. Motorola. Nokia. They all had their own unique style and design philosophies. Nowadays it's mostly the same. Though I understand that it's mainly because screens literally take over the entire front, but I feel like they can still do something to differentiate themselves in some ways.

Anyone miss the Xpressmusic designs? 5800, 5530 had such fun, youthful designs. How about the LG Optimus One? Xperia Arc, ...

RCS Troubleshooting

If for some reasons your RCS (Rich Communication Services) or Chat Features are not working on your phone, you might be able to fix that just by uninstalling and reinstalling (or updating) a system app called Carrier Services. Note, this steps are for Android Messages application. For other third party applications, steps could be different.
