Discussion: 3GB RAM and 32 GB ROM with a 32 GB SD card is more than enough for basic usage, i.e. calls, texts, WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, social networking, browsing, work & personal e-mail, media consumption, reading, casual photography & photo editing apps (Snapseed)

So I have been using a Nokia 5.1 Plus since December 2018, that's almost 16 months. Prior to this I was using a Redmi 2 Prime (2GB RAM, 16 GB ROM with a 32 GB SD card) which I used for a little over 30 months (2 and 1/2 years) without any issues.

My usage is pretty much the same and is listed above.

It is my understanding that the activities I have listed above is definitely at least 50% of all activities of any smartphone user.
(I have made this assumption by asking few friends and they sai...

I heard that the Galaxy S20 Ultra also had this issue and Samsung came out saying they recognised the problem and were bringing a software update out to solve the issue. Oneplus, only yesterday I believe, also came out and recognised there was an issue and said the next software update will fix it (which is what I assume was a silent fix on this update...

Snapchat New UI 2020

So I was browsing Snapchat like usual and after I sent a snap to a few people, BAM, I'm instantly in a much cleaner 5 tab bottom bar UI. The five tabs were Maps, Chat, Camera, Stories and Explore. All icons. And I thought this will be stick and won't go away. So I closed the app to do some research on the new UI and I found that it was under testing. At this point, no fancy hardware feature, no Android system update, no stock-like ROM or anything you can imagine will ever bring your experience on Android to the next level. We've nearly reached the limit and everyone knows it. Improvements are extremely incremental and largely don't change how you interact with your device on a day-to-day basis.

Your time on the lock screen, the home screen, looking at the notification shade, tweaking a few niche settings to your likings; those are small mom...
