Better uses for screen deadspace created by notches and holepunch cameras

I've been annoyed for awhile with how nearly everyone has been blindly putting notches/holepunch cameras on their phones and now that I'm stuck with a phone with it I've been trying to think of ways to better use the deadspace these eyesores create instead of blatantly highlighting them with light backgrounds and letting apps draw over them.

First, the dead space (defined as the "ears" created by notches, or the rectangular space to the side of a holepunch camera) should be able to be marked as...

YSK: Youtube Vanced app now allows you to skip in-video Sponsor segments with Sponsorblock!

If Samsung doesn't have those troublesome Mongoose cores to worry about, nor legacy CDMA stuff, does it really need Qualcomm? Also not on the list: Google. If we're taking that list as gospel, it means we should expect Pixel 6 to not use an 888. (I'd guess Snap 700 series again)
