What's your opinion on pre-installed software?

I'm honestly tired of it. I'm tired of my devices being full of pre-installed bloatware. It doesn't matter what device it is, it's bound to be full of useless and unnecessary apps. Especially if you have Sprint, they're notorious for it. If someone is spending over $800 for a single item, they should have the capability of doing whatever they please with it. These companies ask you to pay a rents sum of money to them just to have software that's covered and filled with advertising apps and bloat...

PSA FOR ALL LG OWNERS: If you haven't been able to send/receive SMS for the past couple days, uninstall Google Carrier Services from the Play Store. (More info inside)

I know there's /r/androidquestions for support, but this appears to be a widespread issue right now and it's a pretty big deal for something like this to be going on for several days now.

I just spoke with Verizon support and they informed me that this is currently an issue with all LG models. I've seen several posts about this today from other users and it doesn't seem to be isolated to just Verizon.
