Does anyone else feel that Android is lacking a "forward" gesture?

Android 10 has gestures. It allows users to navigate through system without using buttons.
If you slide from left side of the screen to the middle you're pretty much performing the back button function. That's super cool and handy. And if you do the same gesture but from the right corner to the middle you're performing the same back function. Why isn't it performing a forward function? When I started using gestures it felt natural to me that the opposite of going back must be forward. There are ...

Latest update to my Samsung S9 gave me ads on my lock screen

Have not installed any apps for a week. Only thing I have down is the update from Samsung. There are other people in my area experiencing the same thing. I have not found a way to remove it yet....

Warning Stay away from phone clips/coolers/radiators.

I think everyone knows what thermal throttling is, right? If not let me explain:

Thermal throttling is a process in which the device, being PCs, consoles or mobiles cut down their performance to reduce battery and cpu temperatures, which results in frame drops in some games, so you want to avoid thermal throttling always.

Up until today, I had been using a 5 inch wind fan to keep my temps low when playing Genshin Impact or Fortnite, and the majority of times my temps are at 30°C-35°C, just eno...

The lack of basic Google Photos features is so frustrating.

Some things I feel should have been added by now:

- Ability to select playback quality for videos. I have gigabit internet and 4k videos still play back at 360p.

- Manual face tagging. Currently you only have the ability to edit a face tag if a face is recognized.

- Bring back drive integration.

- Dedicated Android and Apple TV apps. I'd love to view them on the big screen.

What other features do you guys think are long overdue?

Obviously would love other features like a dedicated deskto...

Reminder that Google Opinion Rewards is amazing. This week I passed the $500 earned mark, and I generally earn enough to pay for my Disney + sub each month.

For those not in the know, GOR is a Google app that sends you short surveys that earn you credits to spend on the Play store. You can use them on apps, content, or even spend them through third party apps such as Disney +....

I Miss The Early 2010's

From a tech standpoint, 2010-2014 was as good as it got. Every new phone release added so much, phones could be easily told apart, we had so many companies producing flagships with different ideas in mind- it was incredible. The custom ROM community was at its peak, with new tweaks, kernels, etc. coming out every week or so. New Android versions were significant and every update added so much. Not sure where I'm going with this but the HTC M7 was by far my favorite phone of all time and I wish c...
