I Miss The Early 2010's

From a tech standpoint, 2010-2014 was as good as it got. Every new phone release added so much, phones could be easily told apart, we had so many companies producing flagships with different ideas in mind- it was incredible. Experiencing frequent audio stuttering with screen off? Here's how you fix it.

I've been experiencing this infuriating bug since Android 10 (and on 11) across multiple phones (Samsung and Pixel 3a) where audio playback would frequently cut out randomly when I locked my phone. Keeping the screen on prevented the issue, but obviously that's no real solution.
I couldn't find any tutorials on how to fix it aside from one random comment claiming disabling the Google app made the issue disappear. To my surprise this actually worked, but it also removed all assistant functionalit...
