https://www.reddit.com/r/SamsungPay/comments/kf90ri/samsungpaytiersendingin2weeks/

"As of 12/31/2020 at 11:59 PM PST, you will no longer earn Rewards points for Samsung Pay transactions and gift card purchases. This also means that Samsung Rewards Tiers no longer hold any benefits and we will be ending our Tier program for the time being. However, points can still be earned at Galaxy Store, Samsung.com, Shop app and with other Samsung services and applications."...

Digital Wellbeing needs to support setting daily limit timers for a group of apps

Apple just made some changes which has got Facebook and Zucc squirming enough to take full front page ads on papers to ask users to pushback the changes apple us making.

While we have android manufacturers bundling Facebook, Instagram and Facebook messenger in their phones which are not even uninstallable. We are also getting ads baked into the is with no way to get rid of them in some manufacturers phones. (Not the low tier ones, even premium flagship devices).

When do you think Android manuf...

I miss phones with curved backs

I’m using an iPhone XR right now but from the moment I got it, I thought to myself what is this unholy chunk of a phone.

Coming from a Moto X and a OnePlus 3T, I realised how much I missed the ergonomics of having a phone with curves to match the hand.
Having thin edges made it easier to use the phone one handed and it felt better balanced.

It also meant phones could get away with having a smaller or no camera bump.
