Song's current flagship has gone 4 months without an update in the US

The US Xperia 1 ii hasn't had an update since November 1 - the last security update in 4 whole months. While previous generation xperia phones and even the current midranger have received the Android 11 update in other regions, the $1200 flagship that isn't a year old yet hasn't received it in the US.

Why are phones getting so big

Some of these android phones are unnecessary huge. Most androids are between 6.5-6.6 in while a few are close to 7 in! And I seen a few articles saying in a few months/years there's gonna be some phones that reach up to 8 in. Why are companies making their phones almost tablet size? What's the appeal? Why move away from the 5.5-6.1 in? Honestly curious...

Mishaal tweeted that a developer Ivan Merler found more evidence of a Samsung WearOS watch codenamed Merlot in the kernel source of the Exynos S20 series.
