Google seems to be rebranding Wear OS to just "Wear"

According to these Google I/O event noscripts, Wear OS is dropping "OS" from the name

How often do you upgrade your phone?

I've been using the Huawei Nova 2i/Mate 10 lite for almost 3 years now. My phone hasn't received a security update since September of last year and is still stuck on Android 8 + EMUI 8. I'm usually one to keep using something until it breaks (which was the original plan) but I also don't want to compromise my data. The phone runs okay, obviously not the best but it meets my basic needs.

I'm curious about:
1) How often do you upgrade your phone?
2) How important do you reckon Android security pa...

Found a way to use Apple Watch cellular with Android with all features except text message *IF you have family with an iPhone

I think I may have found found a partial workaround to use Apple Watch and an android phone, but it may not work for everyone.
I am looking to upgrade to a Pixel 5 from an iPhone 6s, but want to keep the ability to listen to Spotify on a run via Apple Watch. I have an iPhone 6s and am looking to upgrade.

I have found how to get most all Apple Watch features, except text messages.

I just talked to my carrier (T-Mobile) and since my family members have iPhones I could use the new Apple Watch ...
