Android 7.1.2 on a Nexus 7 2012

I have managed to install Android 7.1.2 on my Nexus 7 2012, including Google Play and the required play services!

I will admit, it doesn't run as well as the stock Android 4.4.4 it comes with, however Android 7 is much more in-date and more apps support it.

So while there are a ton of manufacturers peddling android devices, pretty much all of them have their own flavour of "skin" that they put on. Some are just very superficial while others do a number on the whole android system, sometimes going as far as messing up working items.
