What android apps would you add to windows?

Hi guys,

So windows 11 is going to allow sideloading and downloading of android apps. I was just curious if there were any apps people were looking forward to adding to windows.

For me personally, I want to try to sideload the google voice recorder because it has one of the best local voice-to-text I have ever come across.

Just interested to see what other people want to sideload.

I think this post doesn't break any of the rules if it does please let me know I will delete it...

Possible unpopular opinion The Android 12 auto color theme picker kinda sucks

I have no idea how everyone feels about it and I am curious because I think it sucks. It always makes the primary color a off pastel color that doesn't look good and doesn't allow for contrasting colors. For the times it gets the primary right, the secondary color used elsewhere is ugly looking. (the last screenshot set has a good primary but this ugly off brown secondary) Here are a couple screenshots I took to help me make a case:

Why aren't phone speakers equalized out of the box?

EQ involves the raising and lowering of certain frequencies in specific bands. EQ exists to balance out the sound coming out of whatever speaker preludes it, and so, tiny phone speakers obviously will have a unbalanced, unlikable sound.

Looking at a frequency response chart of a specific phone, as DXOMARK has rated for some, you can raise and lower frequencies according to such chart, using a system wide EQ, such as Wavelet. Wavelet is also good for EQing specific models of headphones within t...

A light alarm clock.

Lots of people unable to hear have to use different ways to wake up in the morning like vibration and light. I'm not one of those but I've never waked up more refreshed than when I used an app that used smartphone screen brightness to wake me up. Trust me: it works. You can detect the light very easily (increasing over 15 or 30 min) and, if worried, you can set up a sound alarm too.

"Then use the app". The problem is that Android is not well suited for it so in most smartphones is a pain to use...

RANT: Android open with menu is seriously bad.

So I was trying to sideload an app and when I click on the apk, it asks me

"which application you want to open this files with?"

Options are: a) android package installer; b) Poweramp Equilizer.

Wut? What the hell is poweramp Equilizer going to do with an apk file?

Same with Zoom and map links.

Why does android ask me if i want to open a map link with zoom? (if selected it does absolutely nothing btw) this caused a massive issue with my dad's phone. He somehow selected zoom and hit alw...
