Android 12 Wireless Controller DPAD/Stick Fix

I had AnyDesk AD1 addon installed on my phone and the addon was enabled under Accessibility.

I suggest anyone with this problem go to their Accessibility settings and turn off the accessibility service for all downloaded apps, then turn them back on one a...

Sony Xperia 1 III will get two major OS updates

> Update July 19: Sony reached out to us to clarify that the original statement by a company's employee isn't correct and the Xperia 1 III will get two major OS updates after its launch. Here's the official position of the company on the matter:

> It is not correct that Xperia 1 III will have only one time Android OS update. We aim to support Xperia 1 III with the latest Android updates for two years after its launch and we expect to have Android OS updates more than once during that period...

PSA: Delete and re-add your biometrics data such as fingerprints every few months for a smoother experience

If you've ever noticed your fingerprint sensor has become more inaccurate over time, or requiring you to consistently wipe clean the sensor, I advise you to simply delete and re-add your finger print. The difference is absolutely phenomenal. It feels like a brand new phone with an instantaneous response to the slightest touch of your finger tip.

So far I've theorised it has to do with changes in the skin, and not necessarily failure in the hardware....

All the Pegasus spyware debacle makes me more certain that the open source nature of android is the best way forward for good security

Although it affects both, [iphone requires a zero click attack](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegasus_(spyware)#Spyware_details), and is apparently present across multiple versions of ios. I doubt such a vulnerability could have persisted if not for the closed source nature of ios, and [is more difficult to prevent owing to the same reason](https://www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2021/03/16/iphone-12-pro-max-and-iphone-13-not-more-secure-than-google-and-samsung-android-warns-cyber-billionaire/...

New Dell Mobile Connect app for Windows 10

Supposed to compete with Your Phone, but it appears to be limited to Dell computers

There's two ways to bypass the Dell verification and use this on non-Dell computers: https://twitter.com/nicolaspopy/status/1417517346156163077

I wonder if something similar could be applied to get Samsung Quick Share working...
