All the Pegasus spyware debacle makes me more certain that the open source nature of android is the best way forward for good security

Although it affects both, [iphone requires a zero click attack](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegasus_(spyware)#Spyware_details), and is apparently present across multiple versions of ios. Dolby Atmos on Tidal and Apple Music sound different! I've been comparing for hours.

I'm not sure why but it definitely seems like Dolby Atmos is not just an algorithm on Android or something companies slap in their apps to decode the music produced in the format.

Discussion: Has anyone put together a compilation of Jon Prosser's predictions and noted which came true and which were total flops? I feel like r/Android either loves or hates him. I figure with all this love/hate, surely someone has made (or is willing to make) such a compilation?

Maybe it really doesn't matter, but given how much this sub seems to care about "Jon Prosser" and the predictions he makes, I would expect someone would put the time into actually showing how often he's right and wrong.

I really know nothing about him other than that he apparently predicts some stuff and sometimes he's wrong, which I assume is true of most leakers/people with the inside scoop.
