Almost all smartphone camera comparisons are flawed and pointless

Hi, just wanted to point this out. As stated in the tile, the real issue is that there is no reference point. What I mean by this is that the picture that looks closer to how you see things in person is objectively the best shot. The problem with these comparisons that you see on Youtube for example is that people just compare two different phone shots without showing us how the shot actually looks in person maybe using a proper DSLR. You need to show that in your comparisons as well when compar...

I sometimes miss older phone designs.

I know newer phones are objectively better. My current phone is a behemoth with a 6.8 inch screen and 7,000mAH battery. It's awesome for watching movies, reading and the occasional gaming.

But picking up my older phones, they feel so good. My OnePlus 3T, Motorola Droidb Razr M, LG G4. Love how compact they were.

Also miss the whole "curved" design they had around 2016-2018. Feels so natural to hold compared to the boxier designs now.

And I sometimes miss the removable backs. I remember deck...

Regarding the UDC of the Galaxy Z Fold3, it uses AI algorithms to assist, and the picture quality is not bad. Although it cannot reach the level of a normal front camera, I believe that the picture quality of Fold3 is the best among several UDC phones to be released soon. - Ice universe

My thoughts after using Moto g60 for a month

I recently bought Moto g60 for myself after using Xiaomi/Samsung phones for a long time. This is my first Motorola phone and have been using this for almost a month now.

I always wanted to use a Moto phone for the clean UI it provides. some of the reasons I picked this phone:
1. Clean UI with no junk apps
2. Large 6000 mAh battery
3. Sick of buggy MIUI experience from my previous phone

Some of the observations I made after using this phone:

1) Phone sure is large but I didn't particularly fee...

You should be able to save Chrome Groups in the Bookmarks Bar! (Opinion)

If you could just right-click on a closed or open group and it said: "Save Group in Bookmarks Bar" or whatever!

I often find a lot of interesting websites or articles that are linked together and it would be nice to save them all as a Group in the Bookmarks Bar.

\-I am aware of folders, but there you have to save every single link and make a folder. Would be a lot easier to just have named color-coded Groups in the Bookmarks Bar!

I hope some devs at Google see this and implement thi...

The Surface Duo is wayyy better than some wankers make it out

TL;DR -- Bought Surface Duo on launch, returned it, bought again 3 weeks ago. Best phone I've ever had despite each and every shortcoming. It's a digital moleskine well integrated with OneNote and I can't go back to smaller / non-stylus input phones. Professionals should be intrigued af imo.

Another anti-competitive way Google is very silently using to "steal" users from third party stores back to the Play Store (and the possible profits related to it) ?

I've discussed this already on the Samsung subreddit since I first noticed this happening between the Galaxy Store and Play Store, and people over there recommended me to post this here too. I'll leave a link to my other post at the end. Since I've basically described everything in detail in that other post, and I don't want to literally copy past it, I'll just keep it simple here and state the important points:

\- Basically me and many other users have started to notice that in the past mont...

Why i think Android Dessert names should come back.

So today i was scrolling through Reddit and i found a post about why older phones are cooler than newer phones. They had interesting designs, they were more compact than newer phones that are almost just huge pieces of screen. And this post got me thinking about the good old days of Android Lollipop and Marshmallow. Some people would say that these names have no relevance and the fact that Android versions just have numbers makes no difference. But maybe there are still some users out there who ...
