Android has improved so much since I last used it.

I switched to iPhone in 2016 due to the frustration with Android OEMs and their greedy tactics - they would flood the market with 7689 different models, charging you nearly iPhone money but could never deliver on the a polished OS nor would they bother to give you updates past 1 year, rendering your $500 device nearly useless a mere 12 months later.

I have young kids who don't have cell phones and I wanted to get them Duo accounts to use with our Nest Hub Max. While I believe it is now possible to set up a Duo account without linking a cell number if you set up the account using an Android tablet, we don't have one of those. Phones displays are getting too tall and narrow?

I couldn't find any discussion on this topic and wanted to make a post to see if I was the off one out or if others had similar views.

I used to have a Xiaomi Mi Max 3 which was
perfect for watching YouTube, the video took up the entire 6.9 inch screen.

I was looking for an upgrade and all the new phones a stupidly tall and narrow at aspect ratios around 21:9...

Surely watching YouTube as an use case take precedence over watching movies on Netflix?

Android 10 Bluetooth Cutting Out Definitive Fix 2021

THE PROBLEM

This problem first occured as early as 2017 and seems to have resurfaced with the Android 10 update June 2020.

I searched everywhere for a definitive fix but everyone seemed to be talking about fixes for phones I didn't have.
For context I have had this problem with both Moto G 5 Plus and my newly purchased Moto G 8 Power 2020.
To be clear this is a problem that effects ALL different Android phones not just Motos.
