Most interesting Japan-only phones?

Japan has a rather interesting phone culture. I remember the Sharp Aquos Crystal had a nearly bezel-less display with chamfered glass. That was such a looker.
These phones don't get a lot of coverage for obvious reasons.
What are some weird and interesting Japanese phones other that that?...

Isn't "Keep Wi-Fi on during" a helpful feature, if implemented correctly?

I have an old Samsung phone with an old Android version. It has "Keep Wi-Fi on during", and I think I saw that option in old custom ROM's, too. If you don't know, it is a feature that allows turning Wi-Fi off automatically when the screen is off and the device is not charging. I cannot find this menu in newer versions of Android, so I think Google has dropped it.

I have tested with devices that I seldom use. In the power usage graph, the Wi-Fi was continuously consuming battery during sleep. If...

Do you think 3rd party devs neglect Android (compared to iOS)? And does this affect your decision to stay on Android?

This is something that's been bugging me for some time.. As much as I love the Android OS and the variety of Android devices, the lack of care by 3rd party devs is so annoying..

We have some cool, highly performant, innovative devices, but sometimes I feel like "what's the point of having so many awesome cameras etc. if I can't use the most popular app in the world, WhatsApp, to take and send a simple non-blurry photo?"

I feel Android and Android OEMs are improving every year, with better ...

New Samsung tablet listing on Sam's Club?

I was looking at tablets on the Sam's Club app because my old tablet just broke and saw some new listing I don't think were supposed to be up yet. Anybody hear anything about Samsung Palletes yet? They showed up when searching for Samsung Tab so I presume they are an upcoming tablet. I really need a new tablet soon so I'm curious if a new tablet is incoming and if I should wait a bit.

Edit: Here (https://imgur.com/a/0uGhUKa) are some images of the listings. The prices seem to be 799.99, 999.99,...

Do you still prefer fingerprint readers on your phone? Why or why not?

I've been using an OG Pixel 1 XL for nearly 5 years or so now. It's getting to the point where I'm considering upgrading my phone. But one thing I've noticed from the new flagship phones is that the fingerprint readers are gone. This is something I use dozens of times a day to login to my phone and damn near every app that requires a login.

So I'm curious: is this something that most people have moved on from? Do you still prefer it? if not, what do you use now? Are we back to typing in passwor...

Finally Found out how to move apps to SD card on Android 11

I have a cheap Samsung A01 with Android 11. It only has 16 GB so about 2 months ago I litteraly spent days trying to figure out how to move my apps to SD Card. I looked all over the internet and reddit until I finally came to the conclusion there is no way to put apps on SD Card these days. I read so many comments about how android and phone companies took the move to SD option off so you would have to buy a phone with alot of storage space. Noone had an answer. Well guess what?
I found out ho...
