Here's how to increase the performance of your apps (higher DEX optimization)

So I recently discovered that you can force Android to recompile your apps' ODEX files! By default, they use a mode called "speed-profile", which attempts to optimize the app for performance, but holds off on some optimizations to save storage space.

Here's how you can optimize apps to the maximum extent!

You need ADB for this, no root necessary:

Pikmin Bloom made my System go mayhem

I installed the game just to try it out and gave it the permissions it needed. It has background location tracking like Pokemon Go, which I also granted. Played it for about 20 mins and already forgot about it.

And since then several things just straight out didn't work anymore:

Notifications from Signal and other apps didn't arrive until I opened the app
Play Store would not update apps when I click on Update All
Android Auto (Wireless) didn't start anymore
In general weird glitches a...
