You can get the old Google emojis back with Gboard's Emoji Kitchen!

So I don't know if people know this already, but I was messing with emoji kitchen until I found out that you can combine the sparkle emoji () with another emoji to get the old Google version of it!! It's awesome! My favorites are the ghost and fire emojis...

What were some of the niche smartphone features which were your favorite?

For me the following,

1) active edge from pixel 3

2) dual front cameras on pixel 3

3) OIS in front camera from htc 10.

4) speaker phone and earphone both gets active when you used speaker mode during call on S10.

5) headphone jacks....

Nice little feature

I'm running Android 12 on a Google pixel, so I'm not sure if this is strictly Android or Google but, when you move the brightness bar it changes along with it. At the lowest the center is empty, at middle it's half, and close to full it's full. Just a cute little feature I kept noticing, idk if it's a known thing....

Discussion: What's your opinion on folders in app drawers?

I understand the main intention of the android app drawer is to have all of your apps in one place arranged in an alphabetical order and shortcuts of the most used ones on the home screen.


But with the increasing number of apps for everyday use, IMO folders in the app drawer is a good way to declutter the experience. Samsung does this and Android launchers such as Smart Launcher 5, Nova launcher, microsoft launcher etc does this. Even Apple does something similar with the app library, I thi...
