OmwardMobility is working on bringing a 5G BlackBerry smartphone with a keyboard to market

It was originally expected in 2021, and OnwardMobility recently posted an update to their blog (stating that they're still working on it)

I assumed they were going to release it this year, but the update has no mention of when to expect the device...

Google's botched Pixel 6 update and the Android security patch conundrum

Google has rolled out a monthly security update for its Pixel phones at the beginning of each month for the last several years. The January 2022 update for Pixel phones started rolling out on Tuesday, but Google’s latest Pixel phones — the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro — won’t be receiving the update until later this month. A couple of weeks of delay doesn’t sound like a big deal, but Google previously halted and pu...

Should you buy Zenfone 8?

I'm an owner of zenfone8.

I wanted to share my experience with zenfone8, which was not the best so far. Here I want to tell you why, and warn you from things that you don't find in youtube reviews.

1- Generally, don't buy a phone that is very hard to sell, not a known phone brand. Less people know about Asus phones, unlike Samsung or Apple for example, which makes re-selling this phone a real tragedy.

TikTok has annoyingly never had dark mode for Android, and after what felt like hours of searching online on a few different occasions, I've never came across an actual solution.

I finally found a workaround 🥲

Instructions:

3. Login to "TikTok (dot) com (slash) login" on Brave
4. Disable the "enable bottom toolbar" setting in Brave (makes the TikTok UI fit the screen better, kinda I guess, idk this step might be optional)
5....

RDNA is extremely power hungry even for desktop applications. Not sure which delusional Exynos fanboys think AMD will be the saviour and change everything....

LTPO 2.0 vs LTPO 1.0 >> VRR finally works !!

There are several tests of phones with LTPO 1.0 screens showing that the VRR does not actually work (S21 Ultra or Pixel 6 pro), but is in fact only a change from 120 to 60Hz (or 48Hz) in certain conditions. Which is a shame!

However, I have a feeling that the introduction of the new LTPO 2.0 technology seems to fix this problem.

So do you think LTPO 1.0 displays are physically incapable of real adaptive refreshing, or that a software update would be possible?
