Gesture motion to transfer from PC to phone.

I had a thought in which a person who is looking at something on a PC and wants to continue it on their phone. They hold their phone at a 15° angle for 2 seconds then whip the phone back like you're fishing. PSA: Fix for Whatsapp getting stuck at loading Media from Backup (Sorry if its the wrong Sub)

I recently picked up a Pixel 6 and tried to install Whatsapp but my Whatsapp Backup got stuck at loading my Media Data everytime. I finally found a workaround.

1. Try to make a Backup/Look if there is already a Backup
2. Connect your phone to your Pc, go into Android/media/com.Whatsapp/WhatsApp/Databases and copy the most recent file you find in there and drop it somewhere on your PC.
3. Disconnect your phone from your PC
4. Uninstall Whatsapp from your phone
5. reinstall WhatsApp BUT DONT OP...

What if OEMs extended release cycles?

why is it that OEMs such as Samsung, OnePlus, Google, Apple, Motorola, etc continue to produce phones at such a rapid pace when consumers seem to hold on to their devices longer and longer? might it be a good idea to slow phone development cycles to say every year and a half or two years? my thought is that doing so would promote fewer physical devices for an OEM to support, higher quality software such as the Android OS, less ewaste, etc. thoughts?...
