Android Nintendo Switch emulator "Skyline" project update

>Hey there, in case you've missed it. Skyline now runs Sonic Mania (and Celeste soon) on builds from the ftx1 branch. They aren't playable just yet due to lacking crucial optimizations but will be in the coming months.

>With this milestone, we've been wondering about the sustainability of the project. It sadly isn't free to work on the project and it requires a very high time investment. So, we're looking into our options with mo...

Why I ditched the Pixel 6 for an iPhone after 11 years with Android

Never thought I'd be making a post like this, but here we are.

I've used Android devices pretty much from the beginning - my first smartphone was the Nexus S back in 2010. After that I would switch between Motorola and Samsung phones (Galaxy S3, Moto X and S6) before switching to the Pixel line. I started off with the original Pixel, then the Pixel 3, Pixel 5 and finally the Pixel 6.

Shareplay for Facetime. Your turn Google.

Shareplay actually looks like a pretty decent set of features which should work on pretty much all the ios/osx devices.

It's time we have a decent Android equivalent. Stop coming up with apps that you end up killing/replacing the very next day or don't even bother to update /improve .
I have only ever used android phones but it's getting difficult now.

YSK: Android phones can be compromised with malware that has its own backdoor into the framework

I recently suffered a targeted cyber attack on my phone and computer.

I'm running Android version 9 and had Snapchat installed. On September 2021, I received a friend request from Sherry Ellen (s_ellen5816), but I didn't know this person. I blocked them, but it was too late. I found a few days later that the following apps were made into dual apps with the following permissions turned on:

Android System Webview
Chrome (Location)...

Which region will recieve Snapdragon OR Exynos for Galaxy S22 (speculative)

I based this from pulling the type of test firmware on Samsung's servers. B model is Exynos, E model is Snapdragon. Here's the list from my little investigation. Don't flame me if I'm wrong. Take it with a pinch of salt though.

Pretty confident:

Europe - Exynos (S22 B models started appearing on EU retailers website)

North America - Snapdragon (S90XU model Geekbench shown to use SD as usual, nothing surprising)

South America - Snapdragon (Firmware site only shows firmware development fo...

Are Android 12's themed icons ever coming to third party apps?

Context should you be on Android 11 or lower: https://nerdschalk.com/android-12-themed-icons-everything-you-need-to-know/

So apparently there hasnt even been an API released by Google so far. Months after Android 12's release the feature is still in "Beta". Is this ever happening or will this be scratched?...
