Features OneUI (and possibly other OEM skins) had before Google Pixel's "Stock Android" and AOSP

The Pixel software is very nice and I like it, but it lacks a lot of features that OneUI had long time ago, and usually add them later on Pixel Phones (sometimes after years), here are some that I know! (also I DON'T think companies are not allowed to use each other features and improve them)

1. Magic Eraser: it is one of the most talked about Pixel 6 but not many people know that Samsung came up with something similar on OneUI 3.1 way before Pixel 6.

2. Rules Feature: it is something simil...

Samsung Internet is the best Android browser (with extension support!)

Currently, Samsung Internet is the best Android browser on the market, because it supports third-party extensions installable from the Galaxy Store.
It curretly provides all critical extensions (others can be replaced with a separate app using sharing since they don't need to change webpage content) :

Web page and video higlighting (LINER works on both desktop and mobile)
Web page ad blocking
Web page translation...

Have you ever used DeX and what do you use it for?

It seems cool, I guess, but it almost feels like an answer to a question that no one asked. What do you use DeX for and how functional is it really?...

Why isn't the lifecycle of Android phones as good as that of a PC?

I understand that the hardware of the smartphone might not be good enough for newer versions. But let compare smartphones with PCs. That is true that eventually a PC cannot upgrade to the latest Windows but at least the life cycle of a PC is much longer. I bought a Lenovo laptop (core i7-4700mq) in 2014 for 550 Euros (No installed OS) and currently it runs Windows 10 smoothly. Windows 10 support ends on 2025 which gives me an 11 years of service by my laptop. In comparison, I bought an Android s...

Thoughts on Pixel and Galaxy's

I've owned every pixel except for the pixel 3, skipped it to try the OnePlus 6t. I liked the 6t and the feeling of older Android customization. Not really feeling the pixel 6 and current Google bugginess. Thinking of trying the Samsung s22 when it launches. My questions are.. How close to stock Android is the new Samsung os? Anyone made the switch lately and liking it?...
