Android smartphones paid for by the federally funded Lifeline program for low-income people ship with pre-installed malware. I have three of these devices from both Assurance Wireless and SafeLink Wireless.

For anyone who does use this program, know that you can purchase a sim card for a few dollars from SafeLink with your corresponding carrier and put it in any unlocked smartphone to bypass the malware. Realistically most Lifeline recipients will not do this as they offer the malware riddled phones free of charge.

I made a post like this 2 years ago about the UL40, and It really bugs me that this is still going on all this time later.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ do NOT have LTPO displays

The spec sheets were recently updated by Samsung, from 10-120hz to 48-120hz

How do you feel about "OK Google" Being disabled if other apps with mic features (i.e. Spotify) are open in the background?

My Samsung Fold 2 recently updated to One UI 4 (aka Android 12 finally), and I've noticed that I can't use "OK google" if Spotify is open, even in the background, unless I disable Spotify's mic entirely (which I have). Personally, I love the new privacy features, but this particular feature is pretty annoying. Anyone else?...

Anybody else switch between manufacturers rather than staying with one all the time?

I know lots of Android users like to stick with one manufacturer "I'm a Samsung guy", "Pixel user from the beginning" etc. And of course there's nothing wrong with that.

But anybody else besides me like to switch it up each time?

My last 3 phones have been the Galaxy S7, LG V60, and the OnePlus 8, and now looking at either Pixel 6 Pro or going back to Samsung with the S22+ or possibly Ultra.

Anyone? Just me? LOL...
