Phones need more operating systems (hear me out)

Billions of people are using basically 2 OS, Android and iOS. iOS is developed so far that Apple can't make any serious changes anymore, hence only adding new features.
Android is not owned by the majority of manufacturers that use it, so instead tuning it to perfection, they focus on the hardware only, creating some Frankenstein phones sometimes.
So in both cases, we won't see much improvement due to the grown structures limitations.

More Secure Two Level Unlock Screen

To protect your phone from curt, police or other bad people, you need a good screen unlock option. As I see, "password" is the most secure one, because it's hard to guess.

The problem is the everyday usage of such unlock mechanism. Entering the password 100x a day is just annoying. So, here's a small idea / tradeoff:

Do you prefer the look of Quick Settings in Android 12+ or Android 11- ?

Android 12 changed the look of the Quick Settings: from 6 circular buttons to 2x2 tiles. Sample image.

I much preferred the older interface: it offered two more options in half the space; it let you swipe to 6 more buttons without having to pull down the extended settings; and even visually it looked nicer: the new tiles remind me Windows Phones and feel out of place.

'Now Playing' is useless if you listen to anything other than mainstream music

My playing history consists of rubbish Google has heard on TV or when I'm out and about: Adele, Simply Red, Sam Smith etc.

I was listening to NTS Radio the other day here in the UK and it picked up literally nothing. Back to Shazam for me....
