Google finally added a focus lock feature to Google Camera with the latest update

Updated to GCam version: 8.7.250.494820638.44 on my Pixel 4a and now it's possible to lock focus of the camera.

You would not know about it unless you activated it by accident of course because "Bug fixes and performance improvements" in the update denoscription.

To lock focus tap and hold inside the view finder until a yellow square outline with a lock appears. It works in all the modes I've tried (normal, portrait, night mode, video).

Fix for the SystemUpdate spam logs (custom roms)

Some custom rom developers use "Pixel Spoofing" for unlimited Photos storage.
There is no problems, until your rom stop updating and google security makes old (2-3 months).
Then google think you have pixel phone and start spamming by OTA update. Your phone not accepted it and google send more and more asks for security ota update. You can check it by looking logs, it spam 100+ per second SystemUpdate logs.

The solution with a root.

Some tricks I've figured out

Two of my favorite tricks. Both are very simple, though the second requires a little technical knowledge.
1) If you want to completely stop an app from saving a cache, follow these steps:
1) Find the file for that app in Android/data
2) Delete the folder(s) where it stores the cache
3) Create a blank file with the same name
as the folder you deleted
Since there can't be two things with the same
name, it won't be able to make a new cache
folder; so ...
