What are your most important apps?

As the noscript says, what are your most important apps. These are apps that you simply cannot function without. There either is no other app in this category or this app does something so good, you simply can't substitute it with something else (please specify why).

You can include official apps of services if you want, like banking or a cloud service (LIFX, etc.). But you are most likely using the app because you want to avail of the service itself, unless the app is something amazing. For examp...

Launcher apps developed by "Yobi Mobi" taking over phones and abusing system privileges

Hey everyone!

I work in the cellular industry (+ am a decade long Android enthusiast) and have been noticing an urgent issue with a dev on the Play Store for the last 6 months that has received no attention thus far from Google.

TCL 20 Pro finally got the Android 12 update

I was running version v3.0.3CJK (Android 11), then it auto-updated and prompted to restart so it could finish installation of v4.0.5EF4 (Android 12).
Then after rebooting, the UI drastically changed (most notable was the app drawer, settings app and quick-settings and notifications slide-down pane) along with a new notification saying "📲 Welcome to Android 12" from Google Play Services.

Just thought I'd post this for anyone still using this phone....
