Warning for iOS > Android migration re: Notes

So, using the iOS transfer tool provided by Apple for new Android devices, I had the option to transfer iOS notes (as well as contacts, messages, whatsapp, etc). It didn't specify where/how. Well, it put all the iOS notes into Google Keep. And, it didn't attach a label or anything -- it just dumped all the notes in. For now, the notes keep an "edited on" date and in list view that's probably the best way to see them. But it literally dumped in hundreds of notes and no way for me to know which on...

Feature Suggestion Preview link content without leaving app

I've had this idea for a while and I'm surprised I haven't seen it come up yet.

The basic idea goes like this: You know when someone sends you a link to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, Reddit, or any of the other hundred social media platforms?

There's a good chance you don't have the app installed for all of these platforms, so when you tap on the link, you're either taken to the website where you can view the content (unless of course they require you to have an account). Usually this...

New Design, Price History and Compact View Added to Play Store Sales

Since it looks to be a slow news day here in the sub, I thought it would be a good idea to share some updates that I've made to one of my Android projects here.

You can find the website at https://www.PlayStoreSales.com/

I started the website back in 2015 and for almost 8 years I have worked on it for at least a few hours every weekend. The goal was to create a place that people can go to find the best Android apps and games that are currently on sale.

Most ...

10 days with Nothing Phone - review

I got the Nothing Phone in the US when they launched their beta program, so I got it for $299, and I must say I am absolutely impressed.

Build: phone is really well built and I loved the flat display (bring these back), symmetric bezels and unique back design. Definitely got some comments about how cool it looked. I think my only complaint would be that the buttons are a bit soft to press resulting in some accidental screenshots, but my last phone had volume and power on one side so I can p...

What makes a phone a Flagship? and worthy of 1000$~?

The official leak from the S23 prices/info lists here https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FnfEOveaQAIbttI?format=jpg&name=large

How is a 128GB Memory/8GB Ram/1080p screen/Slower charge speed vs others/below 4000mah battery/ a flagship "price" in 2023? Maybe I'm missing something here.

The S23+ is not any better and costs 1000$, its simply the same 1080p screen but bigger and 256GB , i don't want to hear about the argument that 1080p ...

SOLVED could not figure out random pop up ads on android!!!

I finally, after a day of trying to figure it out, found that I had malware/virus operating in the background of my Android LG velvet 5g and spamming me with ads even opening the ads without my consent or permission.
All I had to do was go to my settings, applications/application manager, and look for any unrecognized or suspicious apps.
I found THREE apps which were UNNAMED and HAD NO IMAGE ICON next to them! Just random blank ads I DEFINITELY got from torrenting/ect.
I removed all 3 and VIO...
