Unpopular opinion: Removal of chargers in box has actually reduced e-waste, in today's time.

The entire issue of removing chargers in the box of phones few years ago seems to be paying off, at least for me.

* I now use an old 18W "Fast charger" which came with my old Fire TV stick (no longer working) for overnight charging my Galaxy S23.
* I use an old Portronics 12W "Slow charger" for charging my mouse, keyboard, Earbuds & other small & low power devices and sometimes even slowly charging the phone on my PC table.

Warning and fix Dynamic spot cause burn in on s22

Iv used the dynamic spot for some time now and i turned it off to see if i got burn in on my s22.... and yes i did seem to get a burn in. I noticed it on darker gray ish apps. I did find a i guess we can call a workearound. Playing a flashing video on youtube for about 50min made it a lot less visible.... i still notice it sometimes but its way better than what it was! Bad battery life? delete TikTok

After trial and error spanning 2 months, I have objective data which points to Tiktok being the main culprit for bad battery life. Notice that it does not matter if Tiktok shows up as one of the top battery users in your usage statistics, it has TENS of services running in the background and killing your phone.

After deleting TikTok, SOT went up 2 hours (From 4 to 6), and deep sleep was highly improved with just 3% battery drain overnight (8 hours)- was closer to 10% before deleting TikTok....

S8+ to S23 Ultra - 6 years of what exactly?

I've had my S23 Ultra for a lil while now, coming from a S8+ that I got on preorder in 2017. I didn't plan on keeping it this long, but year after year I would see what's out there and be disappointed. But my s8's screen was starting to get some burn in and I didn't want to see if it would last another year.

Stuff in the box: S8 came with brick, wire, actually pretty good earphones, usb adapters. S23 came with a wire I'm not going to use. Idc about the brick as Im fine using the 15w brick fro...
