Considering that we are in 2023, there is still any big difference between Android and IOS for the average user?

Never had a iPhone, but for a few years the main things that seems to influence most users of both platforms are brand loyalty, price and the convenience of keeping using what is working for them.

In the early days the iPhones had the reputation of devices that "simply worked for everything ", while the Android phones were more prone to be considered unpredictable by the consumers in terms of general quality (sometimes good surprises like the Moto G being a really good phone even with its cheap...

Desktop mode for Asus ROG Phone 7

Pixel 7 Pro flickering lock screen/black screen lock up fix

On my Pixel 7 pro, the lock screen began flickering and would go into a black screen and basically lock up. It could come back on in a few minutes to an hour, but I would monstly have to do a soft reset to get it back on.

I did a factory reset, that didn't help I was about to get a warranty replacement, then I tried this random thing at work and it fixed it.

Settings>Display>Lock Screen

I turned off all the options so my lock screen is just a black screen. And it completely fixed the issues,...

Let’s talk about notifications

I see a lot of you mention that you think android’s notification system is better. This has never been the case, in my opinion. I prefer iOS notifications philosophy over android’s in almost every way.

Largely, I think this depends on the way you use your phone. So each of us will probably have different preferences.
I’m someone that tries to deal with all notifications from the notifications themselves. I don’t want to open the app at all unless I can help ...
