Quick Share and Nearby Share shouldn't have been combined; Quick Share requires Samsung acct for visibility to own devices and contacts

Nearby Share on my Tab S7+ and Tab S8 Ultra finally got removed. It was working fine even if redundant. Never had to use a Samsung account for anything, in years since owning Samsung tablets since the Tab S4.

I don't see what's been gained by allowing Samsung to remove it and "combining" it with Quick Share, and instead it is worse now. Quick Share wants me to log into a Samsung account in order to have visibility to contacts or visibility to my own Samsung devices. Visibility to own non-Samsun...
